Thanks for looking into this collection of pages which outline my interests. If you've come here on the way to material which I made available to support my teaching, you can go there directly, and perhaps we can chat later.

I'm an Australian male, born in 1941, married, retired at the end of 2001 from the staff of The University of Melbourne, where I taught Geophysics and Geology in the School of Earth Sciences in the Science Faculty. I've been lucky to work in Science, where I can make use of a strong sense of curiosity. My main substantive interest in retirement is the journal Exploration Geophysics, of which I am Managing Editor.

Some of my interests (and would-be interests) are developed further beyond this page, so follow the hotlinks if you share them.
