Present Research

I am presently working as one of a team on a research project that is investigating:

Episodicity during Orogenesis

This project is funded and based at the Australian Crustal Research Centre in the School of Geosciences at Monash University. Project leader is Professor G. S. Lister.  Research will involve both Structural Geology and Argon Geochronology and is presently focussing on the region in the Alps of NW Italy.

Collaboration with Professor Roberto Compagnoni at the University of Turino is a major component in this project. Professor Compagnoni is a metamorphic petrologist with considerable experience and knowledge of this region.
