Second Year Excursions 2008.

Students need to fill in Medical Form and hand this into Office prior to first excursion.

Students are required to cover the cost of accommodation, transport and, where appropriate, food costs. In fact the School of Earth Sciences will be subsidising all excursion expenditure. The cost per student for each of the field teaching exercises is given below. However, if you are prepared to make an early payment, by the dates specified below, you are entitled to a discount. The School of Earth Sciences also reserves the right to withhold student's results for not paying excursion costs. All fees should be paid to the School of Earth Sciences Office (Room 401).

WARNING
Unfortunately because of the unacceptable behaviour of a few individuals over the last few years, the School of Earth Sciences will now implement a "Yellow Card" system. A "Yellow Card" will be issued to any individual demonstrating unacceptable behaviour on an excursion. If a second card is issued to the same individual within a two year period then the student will have to justify to the Head of the School of Earth Sciences why they should continue to be enrolled at the University of Melbourne.
