ABW's ABW info..

So who is me?? Well ABW is (ok, now it is "was": yup, I submitted Oct 97!) a PhD student in meteorolgy at the University of Melbourne, currently studying Antarctic sea ice and its relevance to high latitude weather and climate. (A resume' is available in postscript form.) I've managed a couple of trips to Antarctica, the first to Australia's Casey and Davis bases on board the Aurora Australis performing sea ice work (wanna see where I went??), and then to the region off Wilkes Land on the WLEX95 expedition. Apart from that, well I dabble with lots of toys, (skiing, w'surfing, golf, scuba, cameras, kites.... ) the pride and joy being THE BIKE.

My Kawasaki GPX250... You missed a piccy of my bike..

(Postscript... GPX now lives with the delectable Pandora, who terrorises the neighbours with her speed round the block! Now I have my Honda VFR750F to wake the neighbours in the morning.. brrmmm brmmm! Isnt she bewwwtiful! )

Recently she went for a zoom down at Phillip Island Grand Prix track... her she is with race number... #49 {drool, drool..} and friends! and heading out to do some work with me on board... (ok, its a bum shot, so kill me!)

More aus.motorcycles netscrape 1.0 ride day photos are available from Mike Cutter

More recently, the windsurfer has taken pride of place in my pursuits. Heres me (travelling very slowly as i just start a run) at Sandy Point, where the world speed sailing record (46knots!) is held

And the DOGS....

Race back to my home page..
