About the Australian National Orienteering League
Teams
The League is currently contested by the following teams:
- Canberra Cockatoos (ACT) (first entered 1994)
- NSW Stingers (first entered 1994)
- Victorian Nuggets (first entered 1994)
- Southern Arrows (SA) (first entered 1999)
- Western Nomads (WA) (first entered 1999)
- Tassie Foresters (Tasmania) (first entered 2001)
- Queensland Cyclones (first entered 2001)
- New Zealand (first entered 2002)
Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania and Western Australia were part
of a combined team prior to 1999, known as the Outer States 1994-97
and the Allies in 1998. Queensland and Tasmania continued as the
Allies in 1999 and 2000 prior to forming separate teams in 2001.
Teams were known by their state names prior to 1998.
A different set of teams contested the 1993 season. Further details
