( 45km in the wrong direction - they subsequently relocated, and due to the start being delayed by 30 mins, they not only made the event, but were in the winning team!)

- Several years ago a sleepy lizard bit my nose and wouldn't let go even when I pulled on it. After it was pulled off I had a red nose for ages.
