Colleagues,

From the beginning of 2005, the first year of membership in AMOS will be free to all new graduate students in atmospheric science, oceanography and closely related disciplines. AMOS would like to welcome new students into the professional community of atmospheric scientists and oceanographers, and hopes to encourage their active participation in the society.

New graduate students will be able to join the society free for the first year using an updated version of the Membership application form available on the AMOS web page (http://www.amos.org.au).
